Social Responsibility

We adhere to high social responsibility standards through our social policy, which is an integral part of our corporate governance. The Company aims to improve its contribution to the sustainable development of the project affected communities by developing a social program. Since the start of the Project construction, the Company has implemented 10 social projects, to improve the habitat of population from project-affected communities - Diliska, Korkhi, and Orja villages.

The positive impact and benefits also include local employment. During the peak of construction, more than 40% of employees were local residents. Currently, in the process of operation, 66% of employees are local residents.

In order to ensure transparency, and as a part of its social responsibility, the company has developed a Stakeholder Engagement Plan that allows various stakeholders to share their opinions, advice, recommendations, with the company. A Grievance mechanism has been implemented by the company to ensure transparency, allowing residents and other interested parties to address issues of concern through this channel of communication.
